Small but awesome changes
You’re probably aware of some of the big changes we’re making, but we’re also making some smaller (but no less awesome) tweaks that we hope you’ll find useful.
Updated menus
We’ve made the main menu simpler to navigate by vertically listing the available pages. No more having to really-carefully keep your pointer in the sub menu to get all way to the left!
There’s also a handy ‘Quick Links’ section under each menu so you can quickly access common options that are related to the area you are looking at.
‘New’ button
You’ll find there’s now a ‘New’ button that is always available in the top right of the app: this gives you a speedy way of being able to add new invoices, expenses, etc.
Multi-delete
You’ve been able to multi-delete expenses for a while now, but this concept has now been extended to all other areas too. So if you want to delete several draft invoices at the same time, you can:
Move up/down through lists of items
Similarly, the ability to move to the next/previous item in a list by using up and down arrows has been extended from the pay breakdowns to all other lists (e.g. invoices, expenses):
Banking dashboard and menus
To help you quickly visualise the current and historic funds in your bank account(s) we’ve added a chart to the Banking > Bank Accounts page (this used to be called the Banking > Dashboard):
This chart will show a rolling 12 months of data. It will also show a total across all accounts if you have more than one account set up.
Please also note that what was previously called the ‘Accounts’ menu has been renamed to ‘Transactions’ – this is where you will find details of the individual transactions recorded against each account.
